BBT4 ID: Hi-Mi-Tsu!

Broooooooooooo and I am done!!!! *throws hands up in the air* This is my entry for the first round of the fourth ~!!

Funnily enough I spent more time procrastinating than on the actual picture (I was expecting it to take a lot longer, although I still could have spent even less time on it than I did, but it was worth it.) Even funnier, exactly last week i submitted a written piece to a contest that I had literally written that day because I procrastinated so long despite having a month to write it XDDDDD //shot in the foot. (even though I'm the last one to submit mine in, though, at least there's a couple of hours to spare and I didn't wait until the last half hour like I did for the final piece in the first tournament I participated in XDDD)

I have gotta say though, I'm already regretting deciding to use Yoko's "adult" character to do this contest; at first when I saw the prompt I was like "yeeeeeessssss holy crap I can have so much fun with this making her look as dorky as humanely possible, I wonder if I should have her do like nico nico niii or some other anime reference"...until I realized that, at age 18, Yoko has mellowed out a lot and is more mature and calm, essentially killing all my fun. I was so proud of the design I came up with that I just wanted an excuse to draw it a lot (which is also a hell of a lot harder than her default outfit) and wow I am just regretting every single step of this XDDDDD. 

So instead I decided to have her tease her interviewer a little bit with a sweet smile and a whole lotta secrets up her sleeve (as usual XDD)

Admittedly I'm a little out of practice so everything doesn't look as nice as it did in that coloring practice I did not too long ago, but I'm still pretty happy with how it looks overall. Still have no idea whether or not it's necessary to shade the stripes with two different colors, though XDD

It's seriously crazy looking at my final piece for the first tournament and then this one and seeing how much I've improved in two years. I'm pretty fucking proud of myself, to be completely honest. 


Sorry that her info's in such a weird spot/if you're having trouble reading it, it was essentially impossible to overlap it anywhere else and still be legible. The nickname was something I pulled at the last moment because I don't even know, mang, I just wanted something plant related (and her favorite color is blue now so that's almost all she wears) so it's more of like a landmark on how to identify her, I guess??? As for the play style I was torn between speed and endurance, but I went with the former in the end just because Mio still is a very small bitbeast and her blade is quite light in comparison, although lacking in defense because of that.
